The village of La Valle, known as La Val in Ladin and Wengen in German, was the first village in South Tyrol to be awarded the title of “Hiking Village” in 2015. Situated at the foot of the imposing Sas dla Crusc and framed by the Piza dales Nü and Piza dales Diesc, it offers a breathtaking panorama of the Dolomites in Alta Badia and the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park.
In summer, you can enjoy direct access to walking trails, hiking routes, mountain bike tours and activities such as Nordic walking. Free day trips are also available. In winter, however, the programme includes snowshoe walks and tobogganing. La Valle is approximately 5 km from the nearest ski lifts in Alta Badia. To help you start your day’s skiing without stress, we offer a hotel ski shuttle service to the Plan de Corones and Sellaronda ski area, which is available on request at established times and for a small fee.
