La Val is on the way to become a hiking village. Step by step the village is striving to receive the certification and to be the first village in South Tyrol to do so.
The Armentara and Rit meadows, famous for the multitude of flowers that characterise them especially during the springtime, are just above La Valle. The Sasso Santa Croce (Sass dla Crusc in Ladin) is itself a popular destination appreciated for its wide variety of flowers like for example, wild orchids, and animals as well as over 50 species of birds.
